We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, supporting users, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff (hardware, software, and network issues)
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshoot system, network, and connectivity problems
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
- Monitor system performance and ensure security measures are in place
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance
- Support company website and internal systems where necessary
- Maintain IT documentation and inventory records
- Respond promptly to support tickets and service requests
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support or system administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and basic cybersecurity
- Experience with routers, switches, and internet troubleshooting
- Familiarity with web technologies (basic HTML, WordPress) is an added advantage
